Studio Work

Overview:

The Studio Work course is an occupational and vocational training program designed to prepare students to work as successful sound and music professionals. This qualification is designed to provide students with the technical, theoretical, and practical expertise they will need in the studio and on stage.

Learners will be able to achieve three different certifications by completing N4, N5, and N6 in studio works either independently with pauses in between, or in one 18-month study period, and then using the theoretical knowledge and abilities learned in the workplace for an extended duration. This certificate qualifies students to work as sound technicians, music producers, and studio engineers in the music/audio industry.

Course Requirement

The qualification is divided into parts in such a way that when taken in conjunction with related N part courses (e.g. N4+N5+N6), learners can receive the National N Diploma after completing the required practical work component of either 18 months or two years, depending on the individual occupational sector.
